Copy the driver(s) or cab file onto the device ether by Active Sync or SD card and just tap the file, should install for you.

Edit Sunday 27th There's a RX 5935 just listed on ebay

Once again I am seeking help!
Recently found the openstreetmaps hon the groundspeak forum.
http://forums.groundspeak.com/GC/index. ... getnewpost

It works great for our Garmin HCX.

I use memory map on the 5720 but we are off to Australia so need some other maps. I was wondering if there is any software which will run on 5720 to show openstreetmaps.

Morning

I have converted Google maps to MM, (Bob Smith is you man there) and they work a treat on the RX series and MM.

I dont know of any other mapping software that will work on the Win CE devices.

Another source of maps is Talky Toaters site -http://talkytoaster.info/ukmaps.htm.

Sure Bob Smith will be able to put you right here.

Still struggling to get loads of Australia maps onto IPAQ.

Wondered if they will work on the IPAQ.

There are also some memory maps for the area. Anybody tried them.

Can you help please,
I still cannot get my HP 7520 to work properly.
When I try and see a google map, I get the error message, " this application requires a data connection, please contact your carrier.
Error 183
I also get a spoken error,"no gps data".
Yet if I go into. Gps monitor it shows 7-8 satellites and the compass/monitor seems to work.

I just don't know where to start looking.

Most of us have used a mapping program - Memory Map - which doesn't require an internet connection.

Can you guarantee you can obtain and retain an internet connection in the field.

Is that what the problem is! I just need to get MMAP.
I got this gpsas I thought it would do it all for me, also I am a Premium member of Geocaching.
I am new to this andI believe it's a lot of money to lay out just to see if I get bitten by the bug.
Thanks for your advice

Unfortunately, I can't see any meetings local to me.
Should I consider getting something else like a Garmin etrax. They seem tobe readily available and not too dear.
Recommendations please.
PS I will have an HP rx5720 for sale.
